I finally got a chance to install my KYB AGX adustable shocks today. I had trouble with a spring compressor I had bought, so I had to get a loaner from checker auto which worked well. The nut on the passenger side was rusted to hell and I had to cut it off. But the new shocks work really well, I have them set at #6. My old shocks were decarbons and there was really nothing left to them, so it made a big difference putting the new ones in. Took me 7 hours but well worth it. I wanted to know if anyone else is using these shocks and what setting there using? I have blisteins hd's in the rear and Eibach 1.5 springs all th way around.

Re: Installed front springs today
I have them, im running them with eibach prokit springs..
Mine are set at 8 all around right now, but im gonna put them at 6 in the back and 4 up front... were supposed to get some snow here and i've found that having them a little softer in the snow helps with not losing control when hitting bumps and taking turns... many times last winter when they were at 8 and it was snowy i could feel the back end kick when i hit bumps, when i dropped it to 6 it seemed to hold the ground better, since it absorbed the bump more.

Re: Installed front springs today
Well the weather was finally nice here today, so I decided to install my Bilsteins and Eibachs. I started about 8:00 with the rears and finished in about 10:30 or so. The OEM springs didnt "fall out" like alot of ppl say but I was able to take them out by hand. All in all the backs were a piece of cake. After 15 minutes or so of trying to make up my mind, I decided to let the shop do the fronts. I was really in no mood today to get myself in a bind or run across any problems. Naturally, when I called the shop, I was informed they close at 12 and wouldnt be able to do it today. So it looks like I'll be getting up early again next Saturday to have the front shocks and springs done. As for the rear springs....I went with the Eibach Pro-Kit #3831.240, it lowered the driver side 1" and the passenger side roughly 1 1/4".

Re: Installed front springs today
Well since I only did half of the spring/shock job last weekend, I decided to get the front shocks and springs installed today. The local tire and wheel place was cool with installing the shocks, but kinda hesitated on wanting to do the springs. They said something about not usually wanting to do any kind of work that would alter the cars stock ride or height, due to liabilty issues. But after a few minutes of convincing them that it was more of a "performance handling" spring than it was just a "lowering" spring, they agreed to do the job. Finally after 3hrs, alignment check up and $176 dollars later....I got my car back. The ride and handling difference is night and day.
