It will fit, but its going to be extra wide.... and a 50 for height might be a little low for my tastes.... id go with a 55, I like to ride em fat!

They will fit. I had those tires on my stock 96 rims, and they didn't rub at all. It was a nice upgrade from the 235/55/16's that came stock.

If you have 16x8's, you can run those with no problem, I've seen even up to 255/50r16 on the stock 16x8s..

245/50-16 was a factory optional tire size for the Z28 and 16x8 wheels...so yah, it will fit.

In the summer I run 255/50 Mickey Thompson street slicks on the stock 16 x 8 rims and they fit fine. You will have no problems running those tires on the rims.

Yeah, before and after pics for sure.

Mine came with the car, i'm almost excited to buy tires so that i can get a better size. Something with more grip too, these tires suck all around.

There's 2cm difference between 225s and 245s. My next set will hopefully be 255s if I can get good tires in that size. Not tryin' to jack the thread here but anyone here think 275/40r16s or 275/45R16s would be possible?

275 wont fit the f-bodies stock 16 X 8 inch rim. You need at least a 7.5 inch rim to mount those on.
