  • If I lower it...

I know that when you lower your car that you are supposed to change the shocks as well. However, I just recently put in new shocks (11 Months, 5-8000 miles ago) which isn't brand-new but they are certainly not old either.

When I put the lowering springs on would it be foolish not to replace my current shocks? I think it would be alright but I'd like to be reasured.

but unless your shocks are valved for the lowering springs it won't handle as well as it should, the lowering springs will contantly compress your shocks, and your shocks will constantly be fighting the spings, you run the risk of having a very touchy unstable suspension or an overly stiff suspension (depending on the strength of the shocks and the spring rate)

I would suggest consenting with sam strano, he is the real suspension guy, he will most likely tell you to have them re-valved
