from what i remember reading both here and other boards...judging by your nic, you have a 94 3.4??? youll be better off getting a rearend from a 93-97 Fbody...the 98+ had a different ABS set up and the rear discs were larger. seems like the 93-97's had one abs sensor in the top of the gear housing and the 98-02's had the sensors on the backing plates and had ?? 4 ?? wires instead of 3. Im sure someone else can fill ya in on the particulars.

is there anyway to convert my abs set up to accept the newer style, im sure someone out there has done it or knows of someone that has, besides swapping the abs controller from a newer car, i already have the rear end i will sell it if i have to but i dont want to if its at all avoidable

i swapped to the same style, not the newer style, but i only had calipers, plates, rotors, and ebrake cables. (possibly some shims too... see my write up in that section)

ok so i got the rear tonight and it has a sensor on each backing plate and it has a four wire/prong connector comming off of it, now what is involved in chaning my existing abs wiring to work with this new rearend???
