Before I purged the power steering system, there was a leak coming from the return line and from the filling cap. After I purged the system I found some tiny metal shavings. I added synthetic blend fluid and with the engine running, I turned the wheel a couple of times. While driving I felt the wheel vibrating and heard a very little whine when was turning the tires. That was just for one day. Now is working OK, but I'm not still feeling satisfied because of those metal shavings and the vibration at that day. What it would be?

Re: Metal stuff from Power Stering
Mine is leaking now and I can see it on one of the lines. Not sure if its the return line or not. I haven't had time to look it up. I also have the vibrating. Did you ever figure out the problem or anyone else have this happen?1999 Bright Red A4 3.8L V6 Camaro

Re: Metal stuff from Power Stering
my power steering always wines when i turn the wheel, especially with alot of force needed to turn the wheel, like at low speeds. It makes the rpms fluctuate tremendously and makes the car shake alittle as well. I really dont like when it does this!!!

Re: Metal stuff from Power Stering
I don't either. I'm too busy to deal with it now so I'll just keep adding fluid till I get time.1999 Bright Red A4 3.8L V6 Camaro
