I am planning on getting a newer 98-02 3.8 v6 firebird. I remember i have a brand new set of Eibach Pro Lowering springs. Part #3831-240 it says on the sight they are for a 93-97 v6...would these work on my application? Oh also what shocks would you recommend ?Thanks

Re: Eibachs
Will it work. Yes I have a 99 with 93-97 Eiback prokit.
Will it work well. I don't know. I haven't been able to compare it to other lowering kits.
As for shocks, I had KYB AGX and hated them. They were not stiff enough.
I have Blistiens now, and I love them.
Mine dropped over 2" even though it was suppose to be 1.5"

Here are 3831.240, 93-97 V6 spring rates, the front is linear, and the rear is progressive:
1" drop
Front = 351 lbs/in
Rear first = 80 - 137 lbs/in
And the spring rates for the 3870.240, 98+ V6 kit, both front and rear are progressive springs:
1.4" drop
Front = 377 - 600 lb/in
Rear = 80 - 137 lb/inRobert - owner www.FirebirdV6.com/CamaroV6.com
