i make 75 dollars a week and im in college and im also trying to get it running i know i need good shocks later when i can afford it, so will this work for a few months or no? 25 shipped is alot cheaper than 400 for new shocks

I wouldn't put 60k mile camaro shocks in as a replacement for 200k mile shocks, especially if you are going to be replacing the stock springs with Eibach Pro-Kits. Either just replace the shocks with new low cost replacements, or save up and do Eibach/new performance shock replacement at the same time. Don't put 60k mile Camaro shocks on; they are not great to begin with - at 60k miles they are ready for replacement.
KYB AGX front and KYB GR2 rear would be a quality relatively inexpensive setup (around $220.)<a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/id/vracer111\" target=\"_blank\">My \'98 Camaro</a><br /><br /><a href=\"http://www.honda-tech.com/garage?cmd=viewcar&id=1223\" target=\"_blank\">My \'98 Tacoma</a>

Re: 60K V8 takeoff front shocks better than 200k stock shocks?
well i guess i will do the KYB shocks up front when i put the springs in and i will do the rears when funds allow the springs can wait a while but need the car out of the garage by the 19th of march and its still got the SES light, no front end, exhaust and rear, god i hate being poor :(

Re: 60K V8 takeoff front shocks better than 200k stock shocks?
Its very wise to do it all at once and match them right the first time. Save your $ and do it right. It really depends on what your goals are with the car. KYB shocks are not worth it in my opinion.
Bilisten shocks are rated only for stock springs, not anything else. WHen you change the spring rate, you are changing everything. The only way to match it is A)Koni SA or DA shocks or B)Have Sam Strano re-valve a set of bilistens to match your car.
Suspenion is just like building a engine, it must be matched not only for performance but for safety as well.1999 Pontiac Trans Am M6 Far from stock.....

dont waste any money, put that 25 bucks in a jar and install the springs, if you save long enough, by the time your shocks bite the dust you should have enough for aftermarketsMystic Teal Metallic

Concur. If I were still in college thats how i'D do it. Wait til they are toast.
Shocks before lowering spring is more good advice. The springs just add more reqs and complicate things, for little visual gain on an F-bady, IMHO.
