Ive got a very bumpy ridin 1994 camaro 3.4. im getting ready to put shocks on it. im just buying factory replacements. Should i change the springs also? Im not doing anything performance just leaving it all stock. What would the auto parts store charge for regular shocks and springs for all four sides?? or per piece. do the springs wear out easy? Someone please lend me some expertise! thanks !

Re: bumpy azz ride should i change springs in addition to the shocks??????????
Contrary to what some other members may post, my stock rear springs wore down and I began "bottoming-out" when I'd hit bumps on the road. I replaced them with springs from a newer camaro, and they have been great since.
www.partsamerica.com (advanced auto) has pretty cheap shocks for the front & rear of your car. Cheapest fronts are Monroe's about $57.00 each, and rear about $20.00 each.
If you want springs, just look on ebay. You can probably find a set from a 2000+ camaro or firebird that will work perfectly.
...OR, just place an ad in the Wanted Section here.sigpic

+1 for what hockeyman said.
if you want something other than stock, do it. if not, then just dont. its that easy really. also depends on if you want to upgrade it or if you like it how it is (or i guess i should just say was) remember "upgraded" stuff will also cost you more $$ more than likely. i DO reccomend however, doing ALL 4 springs AND shocks all at the same time to save yourself some hassle.
p.s. search next time too ;)Dave:
