  • fr rotors fail MD Insp

    Greetings.
My 98 Camaro dropped the MD Safety Inspection for cloudy headlites (I'll buff out per sticky), and fr brake rotors.
Tech warned me to get OEM, aka Bendix(?), to be within specs. :naughty:
    I'd sure rather have Brembos!
Any Old Line State folks or brake gurus know if all makers must make OEM spec rotors, or am I risking short funds, and I rather should hunt best price on Delco or Bendix?

Could be worse. I can hardly wait to drive this bad boy!

I once had a street sign that read, "Welcome to Maryland... we hate your car." They are strict up there.

i couldnt see how they can require you to have oem rotors , just that the meet oem specs . i'd just put on ammco rotors (genaric rotors ) .

          you'd think...

I ordered Brembo. If they arent OEM spec...

Hoping the halo headlites pass too; they are way cheaper than OEM.
