Dumb Question (don't everyone come in at once)

I can't afford to get corvette wheels right now, but i'm gettin bored of my stockers. Having a black car makes me feel obligated to have chrome wheels. I found a stock chrome set of Trans am wheels off a 2000 model. The tires are not up to snuff and I just plan on switching out my tires with the tires already on the chromies. I was just wondering do the stock firebird size tires fit on stock trans am size tires...? I'm guessing so since the rims are the same size, but some reason i think the trans am tires are wider... If i should be hit in the face then please do it. :banana:

Yes the tires will work fine.
