which are better? Iwent though most of the posts and no one says which one is better.
I know blisteins are sweet- more expensive
Kyb are cheap on ebay, are Kyb's worth it or is it better to get the bilsteins for the long run, for durability and quailty. Im not looking to autox yet. but i do need new shocks and Kyb has a dec deal for springs and shocks for $392 which is very tempting. Even tho im not lookin for springs.
Can somone please give me a solid answer if the bilsteins are worth the extra $ considering i can get a set of bilsteins for the price of kyb's shock and springs.

FWIW, it depends on the roads in your area, what your willing to put up with, and your use for the car. If your gonna autox in the future go with the Bilsteins. If only for the street, ride is important, and the roads around stink, go KYB. I put Bilsteins on my 96RS and they are pretty stiff. I like the way the car handles with them but the ride is much worse, which is what I expected going with a high performance shock. They are great shocks, but if you live in a area with bad roads go with the kybs. I've put Kyb gr2 on my 97z24 and now my 2002 grand prix GT. The struts were an improvement over stock, but not as stiff as the Bilsteins. I also put kyb gas a adjust shocks on my 69camaro(won't fit on the 4th gens). They are stiff like the Bilsteins. Haven't tried the agx line yet. Kybs are made in japan and they supply many OEM's with there shocks so they are not a cheapo shock with no quality.

You should not need springs as they should last the life of the car.

GR-2® Premium Shocks and Struts are specially designed to provide a smooth, secure ride with excellent control for drivers who are looking for ride comfort and improved handling. In my opinion these shocks are a little bit of an upgrade over stock, but still have a decent ride.

Gas-a-Just® High Performance Shocks' higher gas pressure keeps tires glued to the road while its superior strength monotube configuration provides durability and fade-free performance. From my experience these shocks have a much firmer ride similiar to he Bilsteins

With its competition grade engineering and construction, AGX® Sport Adjustable Shocks and Struts are perfect for sport enthusiasts and high performance drivers.

wait i can also get a set of Kyb's AGX's for like the same price at strano's
and the AGX's (adjustable) are better then the GR-2 Right.

wow ebay has no deals anymore

I got my full set of Bilstiens on ebay for $338 with shipping. Got Eibach 1" lowering springs from Summit for $250. I like the ride and the stance of the car now. The ride is a bit stiffer with the Bilstiens over the factory DeCarbons....but its not so bad that I cant live with it. I know I like the way it goes around corners now.
