Well heres the point I need answered if you have a moment. I have a 99 v6 camaro and im looking to upgrade the shocks for autocross. I was wondering what the difference is going to be between the hd and slp bilsteins. Is it going to be worth the extra $250 to get the slp units. Also should I replace the strut tops on the fronts with the install? I currently have a few mods done and a couple more to go.
Done:
FIPK
Flowmaster Catback
B&M Shifter
Aluminum DS
LSD
Hotchkis LCA
Hotchkis Panhard bar
32mm with poly front bar
19mm with poly rear bar
torque arm bushing
trans bushing
Next:
Shocks
Tires
SS brake lines
I have 66k on the car and it probably needs new struts anyway as well as a operformance alignment to set the camber up for the track, so I figured I should just do the struts now. What do you think?
