just wondering if I put a set of 17's on my car and go with a profile of 45 if the wheel space between the top of the tire and the fender will be too much without having to lower the suspension, does everyone else on here lower their cars when adding 17s ? While doing a tire check a 235/55/16 has an overall height of 26.1 as opposed to a 245/45/17 has an overall height of 25.7.Will this 1/2 inch differance be real noticable?

from 235-55-16 to 245-45-17 you speedometer gives you higher speed on odometer when you drive 100kph (60mph)you realy drive 98,1kph(58.9mph) its 1.9 precent to fast that means higher rpm by same speed but litlle more acceleration time but more fuel consumption.
