Hello everyone, Just got a couple questions. I don't own a Camaro, but my GF does, I have to settle for a Red 70 Chevelle with a built 400 and a 1978 Ford (yes, the F word!) Fairmont that's getting a DOHC 4.6 Cobra motor within a month, but at least SHE owns a Camaro, right! haha anyway, here's what I got.
Her car is an 01 V6, automatic, Monsoon, no power anything, no cruise, and she got it used a few years back, no owners manual. I was putting brakes in it last night, it's got the 12" Twin Piston PBRs, I'm assuming they all do? Anyway, we picked up Ceramic pads for it, since that's what we were told it had stock, and I noticed it has de Carbon shocks in it, and the front sway bar looks awfully big for a V6, I did a little reading, and I can't quite figure out what her car has exactly. I see they have some sort of handling package, but this car seems odd to me, Stripper Camaro, no power windows or anything, but it's got Monsoon? And I don't think it has a limited slip, because when I had it on the jackstands last night, the tires rotated opposite directions when I spun one of them...
So anyway, I will go post in the general area, but I thought I'd ask about the suspension stuff here, if it's stock, got some package on it, she'd just like to know. By the way, yeah, I've got a car chick! :banana: anyway, thanks for the help, Justin
