  • will i notice a difference?

i got a 96 camaro.. the ride is terribly spungy, its a freakn boat on the road.

anyways, there are stock springs for a 99 camaro. they have different spring rates as shown in the tech database.

I was just wondering, will these springs stiffen up my ride a little bit? im just looking to avoid bottoming out on every damn speed bump.

my mom has a 00 camaro and she doesnt bottom out. but i notice my car sits a little lower than hers.

question is.. if i put in the 99 springs in my 96, will it raise or lower the car? and or will i even notice a difference?

It sounds like your shocks need to be replaced.

Yes. New shocks will improve your ride conciderably, thats what they do.

Will you notice a difference in bottoming and wallowing if you changed the springs?

          I doubt it.

Would you notice a difference in those if you changed the shocks?

          I'd bet money on it.

I just replaced my stock V6 springs and shocks to V8 SLP springs and Bilstein shocks (along with other suspension parts), and it's like a whole new ride!
