I got new lower A arms one side is a poly end and the other is the shperical rod end, I noticed that when I get out of the car or drive at low speeds I can hear them pop. I can rock the car back and forth and they will also make a popping sound. Is this normal with these rod ends. I have double checked and they are tight also sprayed them with some silicone spray to prevent rust and what not. Anyone else have these problems?

Rod ends are a dubious choice for a street car. They tend to make noise. They don't handle dirt and water well. They need a lot of maintenance. They can fail suddenly which is very bad (rubber fails slowly). Because sales ares sensitive to price, few aftermarket pieces have really good rod ends, because no one will pay for them. These are good ones:

So a set of lcas would be $400+.

Road racers use them. They pay a lot of money for good ones. They maintain their cars often and with great attention. They generally are kept immaculately clean.

For racers - good, for the street - bad. No street Ferrari or Porsche uses them, for the reasons given here (other than cost).

So which rod ends are good for Daily Drivers, just rubber stock replacements?

Most of the CO. use the shp. rod ends it was hard to find the fornt A arms with only one , I have ordered the uppers from spohn with poly ends so I was wondering if it was normal for them to make noise. Thanks Steve

Tie rod ends are ball joints, not rubber. Stock tie rod ends work as well as anything.

I don't know tie end rods got into the conversation, but oh well. Stock tie end rods are fine.
