when i brake, nothing feels odd, response is normal. i just finished cleaning the rear sensor. i turned the car on, and the light still stays on. later this week i will check the front sensors.
the sensors in the front are not serviced seperately from the hub asm. that is why they are $300 each side. best thing to do is to let someone look at it to tell which one.
mine used to come on all the time when it was cold, my low trac light would come on and my brakes would let go ubtil the abs light inop came on. since summer time no problem

quick question. what kind of rims do you have and what size? i have z06 wheels and i have 18s in back 17s in front and thats why my light is on. but my abs works after i cleaned the sensor. but i still have the light bc of my offset wheels. let me know.
stock salads. the one on the rear left is damaged, about 3 inches is missing on the circumfrence. but i am replacing them with a set of chrome stock salads.
the only reason i got the chrome salads were that they where flawless, and the tires were close to being new. i got them for 200 of a guy who got 20s for his car -_-'
im not bringing this thread back to life just to whore, for all of you that know my lil' story...any how, i just got out of the shower from doing a tranny fluid drain. i know a lot of you prefer a flush, from what iv research. and i aslo decided to upgrade to 9006 silverstars ultra on my 95. anyhow, back to the point while working, and waiting for the fluid to finish dripping, i took a towel and started to clean the bottom of my car. i noticed that on the passangers side, the abs wires where hanging, unlike the drivers side. i inspected them. i saw that the black plastic thing was ripped, and the greenish wire was snapped completely, the yellow wire was only held together by a small yellow part. i ended up peeling the color thing on the wires, hooking them together, taping them up, taped up the black diddly. if you noticed there are like 3 little plastic braces diddlys. the 2 closes to the wheel were un hooked. i was only able to hook the middle one, since the one closest to the tire was broken i couldnt hook that one up. but it seems i wont have a problem. apparently, the wires were rubbing against the tire. result no more light. woot woot Y^.^Y
I have a question how to determine that the problem is with abs ring? How it is changed?
If you open up the differntial cover and look at the ABS ring it will be worn down and then you'll know. Not sure on replacing it as I replaced the whole rear on mine.

Hello, so I changed the front bearings on the bird and the ABS inoperative light came on. I made a mistake of not removing negative battery cable. Now...
I usually have to double, triple my headlight switch for them to come up on my 97 Firebird. I cleaned all connections. Could it be the headlight switch...
