    moving to suspension section

that will work as long as you have the luggage hooks. if you dont have them, dont bother unless you want to remove the gas tank.

Looks kinda cool. When I had my probe a bunch of people over there were getting the rear shock tower braces since those cars don't have very much strength in the back, and they were able to notice a difference.

I don't think there would be much to be gained by this. The rear is already pretty solid. Think about it, what will you be tieing together that is not already pretty well tied. There is a ton of metal going across the two points where the shocks tie in in the back. In the front some argument can be made that it ties across the open space that the engine ocupies however the firewall and even the cowl give enough strength to not require a STB. However if you want it for looks it won't hurt anything other than adding weight to a car that is already pretty pigish.

Well theres plenty of metal all over our cars but we still install subframe connectors. This probably doesn't do very much, but I'm sure if you've done everything else imaginable to stiffen up your ride, this would be another cheap option that may or may not yield results.

all that does is take up what small space we have in our cars.

It's not just about metal but how it is formed. The way it is shaped in the back offers a lot of strength. Also if you really want to get into a discussion I'll try to explain why SFC's aren't needed either. They really just hide the symptoms of a poorly tuned suspension. If you get the proper shocks, springs, and sway bars the SFC's won't be needed. If it comes to it I'll do a full write up on that.

We'll from the posts I've seen by you, you seem to know your stuff with suspension, so I'm not gonna argue with you. I guess my view is just that it would be added strength, but I can also understand how it would be useless.

                    Cya later luggage hooks :slap:

Yea It means the triangle shaped things behind the rear seats. Looks like the bar has a piece that sits under the hooks, and then the hooks are screwed back on over top of it.

I appreciate that. I wouldn't say it won't make things stronger but that it's already more than strong enough so why add the weight? If I were doing a show car that would be a cool piece to add though, just kinda unique in the F-body world.

I thought they were babyseat tie down hooks, not luggage hooks.

I'm not sure what GM intended them for but I think you are underestimating them. I'm fairly certain they could be used in either way :P
