  • trade the pro kit for sportlines

ok so i just installed a pro kit about a year ago. the kit was for a 98-02 Camaro. i'm curious...does it matter that i have a 94 Camaro? i know the engines are different obviously so i'm trying to gauge whether or not the weight difference kept the springs from dropping my car like they should have. what is the general consensus? i know that its ok for me to use them, but the issue is whether or not they actually lower the car the same amount? if not, i can possibly get ahold of a set of sportlines for a 98-02 for even trade that won't cost anything but shipping. i'd definitely like to see the car lower. so do yall think this is a good idea? i already have Eibach Shocks, UMI LCAs, UMI LCAR Brackets, and an UMI Panhard along with an LT1 rear end with 3.42 gears and LSD. just wondering if this will do what i think it will.

i did the same thing as you a long time ago. i was at a car show and bought a set of mac v8 springs from their tent. after i put them on my car only dropped about .75'' and it wasn't even noticeable. after about a year i put in a different set of springs for a v6 and it dropped my car a significant amount. i know the process can be a pain, but if you want it even lower to look better, then i say go for it.
