  • Rear Bump Stop FYI

Well I have found some rear bump stops to replace the onces that had pretty much deteriorated. I went to the junk yard today and I found out that the rear bump stops from 3rd gen Fbodies are the same as those on 4th gen Fbodies. So if you ever need to get some new ones just get some at a junk yard from an old Fbody.

here's some more rear bumpstop advice goodness.. if you ever lower your car and find the rear hitting the bumpstops too often (very harsh ride over bumps), you can remove the rear bumpstop spacer!
yes.. there's a metal spacer there that you don't really need because the bumpstops have metal backings that mount to the body just fine. removing the spacers gives more suspension travel and is almost a must if you ever lower your fbody.
