Re: Lowering + Non-Adjustable Panhard
If you can take a 1/4 inch more in lowering the strano springs are the best. They are a tad more but also have the added benifit of being the lightest spring on the market. If not then the Hotchkis would be a good choice. The other thing is if you want some decent ride comfort the Hotchkis springs are progressive meaning when you aren't pushing the car through a corner it will have a less aggresive spring rate. At full compression both have about the same spring rates but I find linear springs (like the stranos) to be more intuitive feeling. Most springs just don't seem to think about street handling, they are more focused on 1/4 mile (which will have way to soft of a rear spring rate) or are designed for more of a flat road course with not bumps (having to stiff or a spring rate in the rear). I feel that around a 550-600lb front rate and a 150lb rear rate handles very well and is forgiving enough to drive on the street (but will still be a lot stiffer than stock). also the rear of these cars are very light so a super stiff spring will really cause some major problems over bumpy roads.
