Re: lowering coils/springs
Alright, well if your gonna lower it, lower it front and back. It's not gonna be very good having stiff springs in the back and stock up front.
I have eibach prokit springs, dropped me about an inch and a half, and due to recent posts, I think I'm gonna start looking into switching mine out with eibach sportlines just to go lower.

so what if ur in a situation like me and your cars stance looks like this??
Meaning if it made the front and back drop only an inch, my car would look retarted. The front would be still wayyyy lower then the back? my wheel gap in the back is like 4 inches!!
ANY IDEAS???Last edited by Kronic Budz; 06-17-2007, 02:40 PM.

Re: lowering coils/springs
Where did you find a place that still sells edlebrock springs? I haven't been able to find them for a while but they are a very decent choice. If you just want the car to sit 1" lower, ride decent, and handle OK the hotchkis springs are a good buy. If you want it 1.25" lower great handling but a kinda rough ride the Strano springs are perfect. Don't go with the eibachs unless you want the car to be 1.5" or lower. And which Eibach kit were you thinking of getting? Also get some new shocks. The bilstein HD's are the cheapest I'd recommend, a better choice is the revalved bilsteins from Stranoparts, and the best are Koni's. DON'T get KYB's if you want a quality shock.2001 Arctic White Firebird With Black Drop Top

3:42 Gears
Zexel LSD
BMR upper A-Arms
Trans Am exhaust with 3\" I-pipe and cutout
Modified intake
Mecham Hood
Trans Go shift kit
Making rear control arms and panhard
