  • Which springs and/or shocks?

Ok well i know for a fact my rear shocks are totally worn. When i push down on my rear end it is really loose, and doesnt have alot of power to push back up.

My wheel gap is huge in the back right now and my ride handles like a boat at high speeds.

I was thinking about getting some new springs to drop the rear end as well as replacing the shocks. I no that the spring rate would jump alot compared to stock but it still wouldnt be nearly to what the fronts are.

Considering that my front end feels alot more stiff then my rear end when i push down on it.

Would this be an unsafe swap? Do u think i should just replace my rear shocks and see where my stance is from there? Here is acouple pics of my car to show you what i mean. Thanks. And also not looking to spend alot of money on 4 springs and 4 shocks + install. Just want to make a minor suspension upgrade. Mabey throw in a strut bar.

HERE IS A LINK TO THE REAR SPRINGS.

Bilsteins seem popular... a number of places have the Bilstein HD shock kit for under $350 shipped, and the BTS kit with lowering springs for 550ish

    I've been eying them myself

Im running the Bilsteind HDs and Hotckis springs kit. The car feels great and and looks nice lowered with them. Check my thread in the Apearance section under "my car with c6's" for pics.

if you want to just lower the rear about a half inch you can do the heater hose mod. Also if you are going to go with high performance shocks you need to do all 4. If you are ok with how the car handles as it sits just get stock replacement shocks.
