Re: v8 lowering springs on v6
It depends on the year of the car. If you have a 98+ then the v8 spring set is fine since the rear spring rate is the same and the front of a v8 and a v6 car is about the same it just depends on how stiff of a front spring rate you want. That said I'd go with Strano springs over anything if handling is what you want but the hotchkis springs are bettert han the eibachs IMO as well.2001 Arctic White Firebird With Black Drop Top

3:42 Gears
Zexel LSD
BMR upper A-Arms
Trans Am exhaust with 3\" I-pipe and cutout
Modified intake
Mecham Hood
Trans Go shift kit
Making rear control arms and panhard

Yeah, people make a huge deal about V8-V6 spring compatibility, but the truth is, 100-200 lbs difference in the front isn't really that much. My Hyperco Hypercoils are 'universal' for V8 and V6.1998 M5 3.8 Mystic Teal Camaro
Flowmaster exhaust, Pacesetter headers, 3\" cat, 3\" S-pipe, whisper lid, ram air, Spec Stage 1 clutch, Poly Trans mount, Walbro 255LPH.
