  • Brake Noise!

Ok guys i just did my rear brakes, bought new caliper, rotors, and ceramic pads! hey make a constant rubbing sound! i brought it too my dumb mechanic and told me he fixedit, come to pick it up, and sounds still there. Its liek a loud high pitched rubbing sound, and it did it when i was up on the jacks, so it sounds like it definately the brakes. WHat whould cause this to be rubbing, and what can i do to get rid of the noise.

Do they only do it for the first few miles or so or the entire time. Ceramic pads will usually make some noise before they heat up.
