  • Bad shocks...no spinning?

I know that my rear shocks are bad, a got new ones but I haven’t install them yet.
Anyways the question is...will bad shocks make only one tire spin?

I don’t have LSD but I used to make Burnouts with Both tires every time.
BUT last Friday I went to the track and only one tire spin...the right tire was the one spinning and the driver side wasn’t...Now what I Notice was that as I was doing the burnout the car lean to the left side and lift from the driver side…more than normal

BUT I also change rims and tires...so I was thinking since I have 315's will I still be able to make them spin?...Is a much wider tire than my old 245's

Yes the 315's will contribute to that since you have more grip to overcome. Honestly it's surpising you could get both to light up with the 245's. The shocks are not a contributing factor. You have an open diff if you want to be able to get rid of the one tire fire you will need to upgrade to LSD. Also if you have street tires (non drag radials) there is no reason to heat up the tires at the track, they won't get any stickier. Also your times will probably drop with tires that wide but the car will have a ton more grip through the turns on the street or auto-x.

Well I have Nitto NT 555R Drag Radial...so yes they do get really sticky.
And yes i think u right probably is to much tire to be move by an open diff...
Well thx. i guess i going to have to live with it until i get a Z

Now that u mention it alot of ppl ask me if i had LSD but nop i dont...well i guess the 245 were not much of a challenge for the car...but the 315 sure are.
