    Re: LCA relocation brackets

Any lowered Fbody should have a set of these installed. Tractor is a big enough issue with these cars. Lowering hurts it that much more. Installing these brackets will get the geometry of your suspension back in line. You'll never regret installing them.

you need them lowering = wheel hop
wheel hop = broken rear ends

I would use the lowest setting, should be 2 holes I believe, use the lowest one.

                  On a side note.

Suspension when lowering the car I suggest also purchasing an adjustible panhard bar. This will help center the rear end of the car and is almost essential when lowering a f-body!

Both the brackets and adjustable PHR are worthless. Not needed. Do the geometry. And I DO have Eibach springs on my car.

So is it not true that lowering the car can throw off the center or the rear?

Unless you think that 5/32" for 1" drop, and 9/32" for a 2" drop is excessive.

It can be if you are really trying to dial in your car. I tend to recommend that you get the springs first and then measure how center your rear is. The tolerances on these cars are pretty bad so some will be worse than others. You want to keep it as center as possible to keep the rest of the suspension components in line as well. I suggest the Spohn on car adjustable bar with poly bushings if you are gonna get one. As for the relocation brackets, they can help if you have a real bad wheel hop problem. For drag racing you want it as low as you can go. For handling purposes you want to have the LCA's parallel to the ground.

Yea, I understand the reasoning fore the brackets, but just wasnt sure if I needed them or not. Now as far as the adjustable PHB, Ill just measure my center and see how far off it is.
