Hi, I have had my car lowered with the Eibach ProKit and KYB AGX adjustable shocks for about 1 1/2 years now. After doing this I had to drive more carefully over big bumps (New York), but I expected this with lowering the car. Recently the car has been hitting extra hard so I looked underneath and noticed that the bump stops were gone on the passenger side and almost gone on the driver side--but I also noticed that the space between the top of the axel and the bump stop seems to have gotten a lot closer, it looks like if I replace the bump stops there might only be 1/4 of an inch or less before the axel is hitting the stop. Could the springs have sagged over this amount of time? Is there any solution to this because it seems I'm going to be running on my bump stops continuously and lord knows whats going to happen if I hit a bump. Thanks for any help in advance.

Re: Bump stop problem
I replace my bumpstops at 50K with stock springs.
I think they are made from a cheap rubber compound.
Replacements were some other type that looked like gum rubber.
I sprayed the new ones black so they wouldnt look so bad.
Check with SLP I think they make a bracket to relocate your stops with a lowered car.
