ok well i tried to go for the heater hose mod yesterday with a friend in his driveway, but his dad started *****ing at us becuase he didnt think the mod was legit and was dangerous. He kept telling us were gunna need a spring or shock compressor, so on. We ended up not doing it becuase it wasnt worth the ***** out. So today im gunna try it at my other friends house, where he has a good jack setup, and such.
I took a picture of the heater hose i am gunna use( 3 feet long, 3/4 inch inside, and 1 inch thick all together, red semi squishy heater hose)
My questions... Do i need a compressor at all? Do i need to take off the rear swaybar? I have seen the write up and all, but will there be any pressure on the shocks or springs when i disconnect them, like during this step right here.....
----5. Use a wrench with a 21mm socket (or a lug nut wrench) and unscrew the bolt that holds the shock on.
-----6. Make sure the rear is supported by the jack and pull the shocks away from the bolt hole

Thanks in advance guys.
