Wow Smoke, that's extremely low! I'm lowered and mine sits higher than that.

the previous two owners were too much of a puss to really mod the car, so either i have a really long air dam or a super-worn suspension

                Re: Performance springs

Well the Ground control kit (which Strano uses on his own car) will let you upgrade the springs to what ever spring rate you desire and you can set the ride hight as high or low as you want so you could literally raise it for the winter and lower it for the summer. It uses a coil over shock setup for the front and a wheight jacker setup for the rear, giving you full control front and rear. I think the whole set costs about 425 for the spings and conversion kit, you just have to know what shocks you are going to use because the kit changes for each brand of shock. The HD's are good for street use and if you ever feel the need to go nuts you can get the revalved HD's from Strano. To answer the question of stock springs with aftermarket shocks. Yes you can do it and the handling will improve a decent amount over stock. Again I'd recommend the same shocks (bilstein HD's).

On a side note there is no I in T-Punk, and i hope that was a typo :p

is there sumthing to read up on for this ground control kit? otherwise Bilsteins and I guess stock springs are looking like my best bet right now.

Give them a call though, I'm not possitive if that price is for just the front setup or both front and rear (it's been a while since I talked to them about it).

If you want the most helpful person ever for suspension though, Sam Strano would be the best contact. His website is www.stranoparts.com and he has almost any suspension part from most brands and is great to deal with.

Sure, if you want to look like a low rider with the front end pointing to the sky.

I think I'm leaning towards the Kyb agx adjustable shocks just cause there adjustable and not too expensive. I figure if there adjustable then I have a lot more play when it comes to ride comfort and handling depening on my mood:D ...do you know if there is an issue, or will be an issue if I use these shocks (front and back) with my stock springs? They are about 308$ on ebay right now....

That is the standard price. I personally am not a fan but a lot of guys on here have them and like them. I wouldn't get them if you plan on lowering the car (which you don't seem to be interested in) but for what you are talking about they should be a pretty good option.

Is there a particular reason(s) that your not a fan of them?
