thanks guys
Maybe that's because you CAN NOT buy 1LE bushings seperately. They ONLY come on 1LE LCA, and they are NOT boxed.
i bought the boxed lca's seperately and the bushings are moog which are equivalent to 1LE bushings. either way how i got them doesn't matter. i need help taking off the stock ones and putting the new ones on.

You don't have 1LE bushings.
Not completely true. The moog bushings are actually the same thing GM used for the 1LE cars. The arms were not boxed though. You have to have the bushings pressed out and then have the new ones pressed in. There are other ways of persuading them out and into place but a press is the best and easiest way.

I believe you probably read somewhere that someone said they were virtually the same thing (which they are, since they are both just hard rubber bushings) but i never remember reading that 1le bushings were literally moog. They may be I suppose... but I doubt it.
moog aren't actually 1LE bushings but theyre equivalent in that they have the same design and rigidity and made from hard rubber. is there any other way of getting the old ones out and putting the news in other than a press being that i dont have one? any ideas?
