The PHR should be that thing at the top, although I thought they were at more of an angle downards to the left. I haven't looked under my car in a while though, so the angle might not be very much at all. It should be lower on the left and higher on the right. They connect to the axle on the left and the car on the right.

Sorry about no pics from my car yet, I haven't been home all wekend.

The bend in your sway-bar not being centered shouldn't affect it's operation as long as it is still connected at each end and at 2 points along the bar.

so i put the new kyb's on... and i love it. it was only a rear swap. and i love it. it made it a little stiffer. which is what i wanted. also, there is this wierd noise comin from the spare tire area. i think it might be from the spare tire in there incorrectly. but it could be the springs. any input.

What kind of sound? For all we know, you car could be spontaneously combusting. You should probably keep it out of the garage if it is :P

EDIT: 1900th post. On my way to 2K :D

It's easy enough to see if it's from the spare being in there wrong, take it out and go for a drive. If the sound goes away, then the spare was in wrong. If it doesn't go away, then there is something else wrong.

Anyway, can you describe the sound? Is it a rattle, clunk, pop, grind? Details man! :)

ok, so i took the spare out. and still the sound was there. it is a really nasty creaking sound. kinda like the sound you would here opening a giant wooden door in the middle ages. it sounds nasty. and with four ppl in the car... the shock maxes out over every little bump. seeing as how the shocks are new... the only thing left is the spring right??? any help is good help. :D

Check to see if you spring is seated corrected. The ledge on the axle has a lip on it so that the end of the spring locks in. Also check to see if you have lost your rubber disc that goes between the top of the spring and the body. It sounds like one of your springs is not seated firmly, especially if your axle is out of spec due to the misaligned panhard bar.

Yeah, you really need to see what's got your axle shifted 3" Checking to see if you have the spring isolators and making sure that you have the springs seated correctly is also a good idea.

Maybe you should measure how long your panhard rod is, it could have been replaced with an incorrect one from a different car?

I'll try to remember and measure mine for comparison. I'd measure from bolt to bolt.
