  • Just had ATE rotors + Hawk Pads installed

used valvoline synthetic brake fluid to flush and refill the system.

Breaking is excellent. Really is night and day.

    Cost breakdown:

ATE Premium One rotors set of 4 (2 front/ 2 rear) $354 shipped to my door from www.stranoparts.com

Hawk HPS pads bought off ebay through WS6STORE.COM ebay store $139 to my door

2 liters of valvoline full synthetic $10-11 bucks at autozone

4 packets of antibrake squeel lube $4 bucks at autozone

labor for chevy dealer to install $257 (includes left rear caliper replacement as mine was shot $33.00)

i wouldve installed everything myself but had no place to do so nor had time

1 set(4) of the cheapest drilled and slotted rotors from ebay - 120 shipped to my door

1 (all pads) of the cheap autozone break pads(they are gold)- 50 buck

1 can of break quite(been using for years)-3 bucks

doing the work myself in the back yard- free

dont' need to bleed cause pressure is great- free

so about 175 bucks stoping me going down the 1/4 mile at 109mph in a couple seconds - priceless

Sounds like you paid way too much man, and the installation really isn't that hard/time consuming. I think I paid around $300 or less for my slotted rotors and hawk pads when I did my brakes a few months ago.
