guys can i grab the OEM rotors and drill them ......so as the structure is strong n yet i can have the drilld roters....???? i mean i can drill 2 holes instead of 3 in the similar pattern???

you could probably... if you know how to do it... use a smaller bit first before the desired bit size..

just buy drilled rotors if thats what you want, you can find them for around the same price as OEM brakes. if you do it yourself, you WILL mess something up. leave stuff like that to the pros :)

you should drill your rotors, just so you can find out what a weakened rotor will do when its mis-balanced.

make sure you post before and after pictures of the carnage.

Why do you want to drill them? I hope you know that on oem sizes and for street use, blanks will do the job better and last longer.

agreed. there are FEW of us if any that would benefit from a drilled rotor. Aesthetically, sure, but not worth the risk of cracking a rotor.

what are you trying to do? if you are looking for the look of driled rotors there is a company called rotor pros. they have sloted and dimpled. it looks like your rotor is driled but you don't have to worry about cracking. i have heard some good things about them and when i upgrade my brakes that is what i am going to get. i don't trust drilled to much i have seen so many cracks and a good friend of mind had some driled and sloted on his truck, ( 2000 chevy s-10 ) and they lasted about a year and cracked in 3 differnent spots. i am not trying to diss your idea or anything just trying to add my .02 cents. good luck and let us know how it turns out if you do it.

I got mine from RotorPros (see: www.rotorpros.com). I went with the slotted and dimpled rotors. They look great, are cheaper than stock replacements, and perform better (no matter what the naysayers will tell you). My car does indeed stop quicker than it ever did with the stock blanks. I've had them over a year now, and autocrossed them a time or two, and I dive into corners hard on these mountian twisty roads. I just inspected my rotors this weekend. I have no cracks or stress marks, rotors still haven't warped, and the pads still have decent life to em. Prolly close to 1/4" of pad left. Well over 13K miles on the setup so far. I would definitely sugguest them to others. 2 weeks after I got mine, my buddy bought a set of drilled/slotted for his WS6. No problems for him either, but he drives it less than I drive mine.
