my wife got a 99 bird in january. in the big town of greenville tx. they make ditches across every street in town and its rubbing the paint off the front end. is there any way to raise the whole car about an inch or so without hurting the way it drives or causing the front suspention to wear out faster? any advice will be helpfull. thanks.

Actually , V8 springs front and rear would raise it up an 1" or so, I would do some V8 sways too, maybe 32mm front 19mm or 21 mm rear sway. That would keep your handling better with the spring rates. No. The suspension was designed to work at a specific ride height. Raising the car will mess up the geometry.Originally posted by lhntx
