i got a 02 camaro v6 and im looking on ebay for some lowering springs and i was wondering if the v8 camaro springs will work on my car i know it wont lower the front as much as the back because of weight but that might work out because the *** end of my car sets higher than the front what you guys think.

Physically yes, they will fit. From a handling perspective, it's not recommended. Do a search, there's plenty of info on the topic that's been covered.

i think your car might get higher with v8 springs. the v8 is heavier so the springs are bit stiffer.

You may want to go look that up because IIRC the LS1 and 3800 weigh about the same. So some of the springs are interchangeable

correct. The front will sit higher.

Anyone correct me if I'm wrong, and I didn't search it, but I remember someone saying that the LS1 and the L36 (3800) are about the same weight. The LS1 block is cast aluminum while the L36 is cast iron. Do the math. I'm sure they don't weigh exactly the same, and I'm sure the V8 cars are a bit heavier.

But the fact of the matter is, they make a V6 spring kit for a reason. Buy the V6 springs and save yourself the headache later on.
