I got New shocks for Christmas form my brother, and my buddy is selling his eibach's off of his 2000 SS. Are these springs compatible with my car? I've heard they are but wanted to make 100% sure b4 I buy them. do they lower the same on a v6 and v8? Please help.

the weight difference between a LS1-equipped f-body and a L36-equipped f-body is practically non-existant. this is so because LS1s have an aluminum block, while L36s have an iron block
So it would be okay to buy them? He put them on and took them off a week later because he didnt like the "ride" and only wants 90 for them? Should I get them for my car or is it not a good idea and save up for the ones made for my car?
