    Re: Subframe connectors installed!

Heh, something my shop teacher taught us: never use pinch lips... EVER.

I don't see why you would anyways, our cars have giant subframe rails.

^ you can if you use the factory jack and you use the double wall area like the owners manual says. Looks like the OP was using the middle, which of course will bend. Other than that, use the control arm or rear axle.

that bend you see was actually from when i jumped a curve haha, lucky for me, that is the only thing that bent

I was surprised that my SFC's didnt hang down either. My BMR transmission tunnel brace/driveshaft loop is by far the lowest thing on my car. And let me tell ya, when you catch that damn thing on a manhole cover or a speedbump....you know it!

I had my BMRs welded in. One of the best mods I had done to my camaro.

So whats better tubular or boxed? I'm leaning towards tubular but I've definitely been wrong before.

performance wise you will not see any difference between tubular and boxed. Main thing is that boxed you can use as a jack/lifting point whereas tubular you wouldn't have that. But at the strip you are not going to see any gains with one over the other

what he said, but using the boxed ones as lift points is worth the install alone lol.

im pretty sure the boxed and tubular ones cost the same so i dont see why any one wouldnt get the boxed style
