hey yall im kinda new to suspension, just know the basics and such, anyways i have been looking for a set of shocks to give me a stiff and great handling ride. i found these tokico shocks on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TOKIC...QQcmdZViewItem for a good price. and i have heard they are a good company that makes the stiff shocks i am looking for. what do yall think? has any1 else had any experience with these shocks? and one more thing. i have been looking for a set of springs to use with them, but i dont want lowering springs, i have searched and cant really find any that dont lower as well. do yall know of a set of good springs that dont lower the car?

edit: also one more thing... are these shocks adjustable? and if not. where could i find adjustable tokico's? thanks in advance

No the Tokicos are not adjustable! These shocks are the HP (high performance) ones. The only shocks from Tokico are adjustable are some rear shocks for f-body. But not available for the front! The Tokico are a good company but for our f-body cars are the shocks not the best! The shocks works the same as all other brands in the same price range. A little bit better than the stock ones! That is that i read from a lot users! But nobody have them in a car!

      Re: tokico shocks

Sam Strano has been recommending these Tokicos to people over the Bilstein HDs which were previously one of the best bets. The Bilsteins have gone down in the past couple years, and these have taken their place with similar characteristics. Your only real choice for adjustable shocks are the KYB AGX and Koni. Koni being much more expensive, but a much better shock. Tokicos would be great for a stock ride height car, but if you are looking at new springs, then you aren't going to be at stock ride height unless you put out some serious cash for some coil overs, as there are no aftermarket springs that don't lower the car.

qa1 fully adjustable ride hieght and stiffness. there is a knob on the side with 12 settings. i paired them up with the road racing springs. got em from jegs paid about 500 i think. good time to rebuild front end when installing. strut mounts, ball joints, tie rods, polyurethane bushings.

labor is high though unless you do it yourself
