    No, he's just saying that the V6 and V8 cars have the same brake systems, the front pads are larger than the rears.......Im about to do a front and rear LS1 (98+) brake conversion on my 97Z, everybody that has done it says its worth the trouble, even if you only do the fronts.

      NO!!

      I mean that there is no difference in the brakes between a V6 or V8 car for 98-02.

      The front are dual-piston, the rear single-piston PBR.

      BTW, I've done this mod. Changed out the drums to 93-97 rear discs, and replaced the fronts with the 98+ spindles and calipers. Next upgrade will be the front C5 calipers.
