has anyone tried to install a edelbrock strut tower brace on a 00 bird or equal body style. it looks like to me my alternator is in the way and it won't work. i was wondering if anyone has had any success

Post a picture/link/something...I'm assuming your thinking ob a v8 brace. Our braces have to be offset to the rear slightly to aviod any clearance issues.
We have SHOCKS by the way...not struts. -

lol sorry shock tower brace. but yea it looks like the alternator hits. So for anyone looking don't buy the edelbrock "shock" tower brace. It won't clear the alternator if you have a v6. We checked it in my friends ls1 car and it fits perfect. so i suppose no triangulated connector for me. Oh and the slp sub frame connectors, just put them in and they are the easiest and best fitting thing i have done to this car yet.Comment
