you probably have a tire out of round, out of balance or a bent wheel. I'd take it to a tire shop and watch them spin on a balancer before i spend any money.

My car has a shaking issue as well. More like vibrations. It only does it above 60mph. It doesn't affect my steering at all. could it be unbalanced wheels?

If the hub is wobbling when it spins the bearing is bad. You buy a replacement hub/bearing assembly.

Yes, but you would feel slop in the steering too.

Play. Movement of the steering wheel without response from the car or tires.

play when the car is driving ???? because my car goes pretty straight and wheels are balanced the only thing that the wheel bearing on the left side whobbles but it makes no noice whatsoever, and my steering is like going left right trembling when applying brakes it goes worst, but last week i got my rotors resurfaced, but only goes worst when applying the brakes soft,as soon i press hard on brakes all trembling goes, steering ok,but while driving or soft braking it does that nasty thing.
