      Re: What Would You Choose/Recommend

You get what you pay for. OEM rotors for camaros are crappy made in china junk. I went through two sets of brakes in less than 40,000 miles on my 96RS. They are thin and will warp eventually. Then it will cost you more $$ to have them cut once they warp. I tried powerslot rotors on my 96RS. The rotor is so much thicker than the oem rotors. I liked them so much I also bought a set for Grandprix GT. I have over 60,000 miles on my gp rotors and hawk brake pads(I do alot of highway driving) and they have not warped or cracked, but my braking improved significantly especially in the rain. The recommended hawk brake pads leave very little dust compared to stock pads and don't fade. Still have over half the pad life left as well. I only have about 15,000 miles on the set on my RS, but they haven't warped and it stops on a dime. You'll be happy with the powerslots.

If there's a choice between china made or mexico.. go with mexico. It's always nice knowing someone that can get you parts that the general public can't.
