32mm Front Sway Bar Install...Pics Inside

Finally installed my 32mm front sway bar today, I painted it red to match the rest of the suspension stuff. Very easy install, only took about an hour in all. Would def. recommend this mod to all the V6ers out there, I felt a huge difference from the stock 28mm one. Enjoy!

oh and the bushings are from AutoZone for like $13.99 if anyone wanted to know.

lol and I used brake caliper paint on the sway bar, can you tell?

Agreed, it's a very noticeable upgrade and well worth the price tag. I went from the stock 30mm on the 93-97s and it was still a huge improvement.

I went to another autoparts store and told them autozone had the endlinks for $14 so they gave them to me for 12 something. :)

very basic handtools, like a socket set for the 6 bolts you have to take loose and a jack and jackstands to lift up the car, very easy install, well unless you've never changed your endlinks, which I would suppest you do if you still have the stock ones because it is very likely they will break when you try to get them off the car due to rust on the bolts.

Yeah, dumb question I know, but somebodies gotta ask them you know. I got new endlinks and from what im hearing thats the worst part. Well lets get started...

if you have a grinder, I wouldn't even bother with the endlinks..Just cut them in half and take the pieces off. It would save a good hour or two literally.

I did some sizing up in my spare time this morning and the endlinks don't look that bad. I think I could get them off with hand tools. Also Im pushing up the date to thursday, maybe I'll get some pics up on friday.

By not bad I mean not rusted much. Like you ordinary house nail after a couple of winters type of thing. It looks like it will come out.

Mine didn't look very rusted either.. But hey, give it a shot, and if it's too difficult, cut it off. No harm trying to take them off first.

yeah mine didnt look too rusted either, but I broke 2 out of 4 of them, and if you do want to unbolt them instead of cut them off then an air socket wrench is the way to go, makes the process so much faster.

So, I got my shocks and springs on today (Eibach, and the KYB AGX's) and I showed the guy them in my car, he noticed the sway bar andbasically goes, "Oh thats a 32 huh. Yeah I'll put that since im doing the shocks and springs" I was like, you know I was really looking forward to putting it on. No its really not a bother it'll take like 2 mins. So I said sure, no charge why not.......
