You definitely want a 245 - either a 245/50/16 or a 245/45/16. If you're a Kumho fan they have the Ecsta ASX in that size; otherwise Hankook, Sumitomo, Yokohama, and Fuzion all have tires in those sizes (as well as Goodyear, Pirelli, Dunlop). If you really want to see a difference in grip, and don't mind giving up a little tire life, give the Hankook R-S2 a look. I switched from the Fuzion ZRi to the Hankook and the difference was night and day.
Hi Guys!
I would need your help!
Do you know if i could use 225/55-16 tires for factory wheels(16x8)???
My favorits tires is Kumho ECSTA SPT.
Thanks!
They will fit. I ran 225-60-16's for a while and they barely rubbed the fender well because of the 60 series but USA fatory went 235-55-16 and the 225-55-16 you want are smaller than those so no rubbing and will fit on rim just fine sense another standard USA size is 215-60-16 and there even smaller on width then what you want. Hands down on factory rims they WILL fit
