I have these tires. They are 235s. What should I be keeping them filled at? Currently I have been keeping them at 30 psi. Is that too low?

It says MAX 44 PSI, but the sticker on the driver's side door says 30 psi.

I always do mine around 35psi, gives them alittle room to expand when they are heating up, from driving. Have had zero problems, you'll also get better gas milage.

            Re: BFG Traction TA

Most tires show a MAX psi on the side of them. This does not mean that you should run the tire at that pressure. Tire pressures for any vehicle should always be set to the pressures indicated on the tire placard on the door. The max pressure is put on the tire so someone does not try to put it on a vehicle that recommends more air pressure than it is capable of.

With that being said, running the air pressure at 30psi or 35 psi is fine, and I doubt you'll see any difference.

Use Toyo Proxes 4 they handle great on the corners. Tires grip the road really nice.

This isn't a "recommend me some new tires" thread.

                  30-35psi will do just fine.

considering they were good tires with low miles on them, i didnt want to waste them

I have them all around on my car. Great tires, and I've had no problems. I keep mine at 35 PSI btw. I have great cornering and superb wet traction which is a big deal in FL.

I had mine siped for the winter in MI. Seems to be just fine. 35 should be just fine though, I'm usually at 34 being that the placard recommends it for higher speeds.
