  • Trying to decide on a good shock/spring setup

I just found out that my front driver's side shock blew out, so I'm just gonna replace the shocks and springs all at once. I'm looking for a setup that would lower the car a bit, but also be good for handling, as well as be pretty durable. Basically, daily driver duty with some possible auto-x or road racing thrown in for fun. I was thinking maybe the KYB AGX's and the Eibach Pro-kit springs. Any input on this would be great.

My recommendation would be KYB AGX's and Hotchkis or Strano Springs.

Koni shocks and strano springs. The best there is, just really pricey!

I went with QA1 adjustable shocks and the stiffer of the 3 springs they offer. I really like the ride and performance they give me. I replaced the strut mounts when I installed them and had a shock tear thru the mount about 10 months later. No problems since.

Do the Strano springs only come in one version? I'm not seeing an option on their website for V6 or V8.

Never mind. Found the info in another post. I love the search feature.
