almost ever since i got my car, ive noticed a lot of brake dust on the front rims, and it seems to be getting worse, when i put my car in neutral going down hills, it seems like its dragging a lot, and when i jack it up and spin the front wheels, you can hear them rubbing and turn a lot harder then they should Is it the calipers not releasing or something else? thanks

    Re: brake drag

How old are the pads/rotors? Were they properly serviced last time? When jacked up, you will hear rubbing and it will take some effort to turn them, but they shouldn't be that hard to turn. It may be time for some new calipers, or a rebuild kit.

is your brake light switch pushed in too far, which is causing your brake to be constantly pressed down?

      this happened to me

I would recommend first taking both front calipers off and greasing the pins well. Make sure you use a proper silicone based grease. Go to a parts store and ask for some caliper pin grease, they should know what you need. The stuff I use is from Napa, part #765-1351
