Re: New Tunnel Brace Installed
I know I mounted my UMI tunnel mount TQ arm in that location, the location is suppose to be strong. Strong enough for a 10 sec. pass with the UMI TQ arm, so they say. If it was me I would of saved upped and got a tunnel mount TQ arm, because by the looks of it, it hangs about the same as the UMI. I might be wrong though because mine is lowered too, so it is pretty low. The only thing I have hit so far is uneven pavement on the highway going about 75mph which left about 100 yards of sparks. The UMI TQ arm held up fine, not bent just scraped up a little. Thank god.08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake

when i was pulling my rear i was pretty surprised to see it holding up the torque arm which was holding up the rear end.
it looks totally weak and flimsy, but it didnt even bend.
im sure my torque arm bushing is in bad shape now, haha.
only reason i'd get an aftermarket one is for that umi 3 point brace along with a tunnel mounted torque arm. might as well get one with a safety loop too.95 bright red camaro 3.4l
