so i should either keep my y87 brake pack and upgrade to new pads and rotors or up the front to the 98 +? which one stops the best? and why wouldn't they put better brakes on the V8 cars? that is kinda retarded to me. but what do i know...:)

Y87 did have the better brakes. Standard V6s had drums out back pre 98. 98 brought new, better brakes, and to save money, they put the same brakes on both. 98 front brakes will give you more stopping power because of the two piston design over the one piston design of the pre 98 brakes, so it's still an upgrade for us.
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
